One of the most difficult challanges that is faced by the companies of this era is to obtain sustainable growth. The fluctations in the global economy and strict conditions of the local markets are holding companies back to make investments and the generated income with less profit is giving the result of balanced profit at the end of each year. We living in a era where the competition is at its highest levels in almost every market. This era is named as “Digital Age” by many experts and instutitions. It has never been so easy to reach to nominal information before and the digitalization allows us to transfor information to the product in a very short time period. Especially devoloping markets like Turkey has advantages compared to many other economies. Practical skills, flexibility and young population highlight Turkish Economy to be more attractive compared to similar economies.

However, it is experienced that practical skills, dynamic human resources and short-term solution providing expertise is not enough to have sustaniable growth for economies. The size of the targeted market, quality and compatibility of products/services provided to the digital age is as essential as many other qualifications. It acknowdleged by many companies that it is necessary to have continious income and preferabbly continious foreign currency income is a must for companies to have sustainable growth. Moreover, it is obvious that only way to have this continous income is generating export turnover. Although, the digital age makes competition harder, it is at the hands of the companies to turn this disadvantage to their benefit. 30 years ago, it was almost impossible to broadcast your brand to foreign markets, in fact it was very difficult to broadcast it to another city in your local market. However, today the rules of the game have changed and it is matter of seconds to broadcast your brand to foreign city which is 7000 km away.

The companies who don’t adjust themselves according to speed and interactive digital age will struglle more to sustain their current size if not loosing it in a negative way.
